I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
